Review Guidelines
RequiredWhat can be reviewed, who can review, and how reviews are verified.
Last Updated: July 2026
1. What Can Be Reviewed
Users may submit reviews for apartments, HOA communities, and participating properties on the Platform. Reviews must be based on actual, first-hand living experiences at the property being reviewed.
2. Who Can Review
Only registered, authenticated users who have been verified as residents of a property may submit a review. Verification may include lease verification or property invitation. This ensures that every review comes from a genuine resident experience—not from anonymous internet users, competitors, or paid reviewers.
3. Verification Process
Our verification process confirms that a reviewer actually lived at the property. Methods include lease verification, property management invitation, and other proprietary checks. Verified reviews display a verification badge. Unverified reviews are not published.
4. What Isn't Allowed
Reviews must not contain:
- False or fabricated information
- Personal attacks or name-calling
- Profanity or hate speech
- Confidential or private information about other residents
- Promotional content or advertising
- Content unrelated to the living experience
- Retaliatory reviews motivated by disputes unrelated to housing quality
5. Dispute Process
If a review is disputed, the property owner or management company may submit a dispute through our Review Dispute Policy process. Disputes are reviewed by AI-assisted moderation with human escalation. Truthful, policy-compliant reviews are not removed simply because they are negative. Reviews are only removed when they violate platform rules (spam, impersonation, unlawful content, or false information proven through investigation).
6. Property Responses
Property managers and owners may post a public response to any review. Responses must comply with our Community Guidelines and should be professional, constructive, and factual.
